OT: Wine to Water

MetricJulie, my latest partner in crime (we’re even writing a sitcom based on our tweets, just to be obnoxious about it… a twitcom, if you will), is co-hosting the Montreal Wine to Water Benefit on May 15, along with two other lovely ladies, Candace and Joanna.

From Julie’s website:

Come join us for the first Canadian event to benefit Wine to Water. Wine To Water is a non-profit aid organization focused on providing clean water to needy people around the world. Over 1 billion people in the world today lack access to adequate water and sanitation. They are devoted to fighting this epidemic. The goal is to give the fortunate population an opportunity to fight for those who can’t fight for themselves.

Barefoot Wines has offered us a generous wine donation to help to create this food / wine pairing event. The Barefooter motto is simple: “Make the world a better place, and for that, we can always use your help”. We are proud to have them on board.

Please join us on May 15th 2010 from 5 -7 for wine and food sampling, raffles, and all around good time.

You will find more details about the event and awesome prizes, including hotel stays and a spa package, here.

I’m going, and you’re all coming with me. Why? Because you like wine, because you’re good people, and because there are some really cool prizes. So go ahead and RSVP.

And also, they are still looking for food sponsors, and I know some of you are into food and/or work with food, so if you would like to get involved or know someone who will, you can get in touch with Julie at info@metricjulie.com
