Game 36 – Fatso in the freezer – Minnesota Wild at Montreal Canadiens December 17

December 17, 2009

Maybe it’s the shitty week I have been having. I have come to the realisation that our Montreal Canadiens are probably not making the playoffs. Before getting mad at me for not having any faith, please go ahead and tell me why you think I’m wrong.

The Habs continue their losing streak against teams they should be beating tonight when the Minnesota Wild come to town.

I hope that Fat Gui gets cheered, realises what an absolute nobody he’s going to be anywhere but here, and has a terrible game.

Three questions:

1. When are Markov and Gionta coming back?
2. When are Markov and Gionta coming back?
3. When are Markov and Gionta coming back?

Three predictions:

1. RDS’s Gui love-fest will make you throw up.
2. Ryan O’Byrne is going to play a lot better than he has the last couple of games.
3. The Habs will get a ton of penalties, which will either cost them the game, or the game and a player to injury.

Those are 3 very good questions…

I’d even add a 4th…. How long without Roman Hamrlik?

I may watch TSN tonight… but then again… what the heck. I’m almost curious to see how RDS covers the game.

Love that Fat84 comment. Pierre & Benoit would have wet dreams if he ever returned to Montreal…

P.S. Check out this hockeybuzz thread from 1 1/2 yrs ago with everyone talking about how excited they were that BB would be taking over for Yvon… Some of the comments are enough to make you throw up in your mouth a little.

    My predictions:
    – The Wild will get a powerlay.
    – Gui will be in front of the net.
    – Perry Pearn will become the first assistance coach to jump the boards and punch a player in the history of the Montreal Canadiens.

      I kinda like that….

And I wouldn’t doubt that Gui will live in front of the net…. just to stick it to Martin.

Or, maybe he’ll forget about that and drift along the boards….

Hmm actually looked like he did forget about it. I saw him by the boards all night. Same old same old.

Yeah.. he was by the boards pretty much all night.

Tried to throw a couple of hits and even tried pushing Gorges around.

Got some boos from the crowd….

Fun night…. well… except for that whole “we lost” thing….
