Game 32 – Snow and bacon – Pittsburgh Penguins at Montreal Canadiens December 10

December 10, 2009

For some reason I woke up this morning with a need to watch the Slap Chop commercial. That never happens to you?

Pittsburgh is in town, or might be in town, as they were snowed out yesterday and couldn’t fly into Montreal, where the drivers were once again proving how absolute shit they are behind the wheel.

Three questions:

1.  Are the Penguins here?
2. Who would you take on your team, Sid or Geno?
3. How gay are those nicknames (not in the good way)?

Three predictions:

1. Weber will not get pulled out of the game due to a technicality.
2. The Habs have to win a game against the Penguins sometime. Might as well be this one.
3. Many of us will not get home from work in time for this game seeing as we live in Quebec where they only clear roads when they feel like it.

    1. By snowmobile like in the 70s.
    2. Tough choice, but I’d say Sid ’cause he’s a Habs fan. And they drafted his dad!
    3. I keep thinking of salami when I hear “Geno”.

Streets are rediculous. They should attach shovels to the fronts of city buses.

The snow removal crew was stalled in front of my building today so the sidewalk cleaner guy cleared a path to get out for me while they backed out of the way. Then they all smiled and waved.

This after I complained about Quebec snow removal.
