Postgame 31: Mike Fisher’s chin is HUGE

December 8, 2009

Our Habs move into eighth place in the EC with another home win… wait, that wasn’t at home? Well, someone forgot to tell Cammalleri, who is now well into the NHL top 10 in goals scored.

Game 31 Gionta love: Can’t decide between Plekanec, who as of tonight is at a point-per-game, or Hal Gill, who was ridiculous on the PK, or MaxPac, who seems to have decided that ‘opposing defensemen’ means ‘just crash through and keep going,’ or Halak, who done real good.

Andrei Markov: They’re dropping like flies again.

Goalie Guessing Game: It’s Pittsburgh, so Carey, who steps it up against Cindy and Fleury.

Chris Higgins Career Watch: Look what I found the other day. Sniff.

Uh-oh: Spacek injured, Sergei and MaxPac leaving the game then returning, White being pulled out of the game by the league because of some technicality about his call-up.

The reffing: it’s not that I disagree with the calls on the Canadiens. It’s that I disagree with all the non-calls on the Senators. Still, Habs killed all seven penalties.

Awww Higgy looks so cute there.

Habs are so good at playing on the PK ’cause the team is always shorthanded. But I agree, I’d like to see those non-calls at least get a stern talking to (like MAB being sat on for a good 30 seconds).

Crushin’ on Higgy since the day he was drafted…

That MAB one was funny until it didn’t get called.
