Game 22 – Chickens in the oven – Montreal Canadiens @ Washington Capitals November 20

November 20, 2009

I love the Caps. I love Ovechkin.

I would love for them to lose.

Wishful thinking? Maybe. But I have faith in the Return of O’Byrne.

(Or… not.)

Running a little late and I might miss parts of this game – pay attention so you can tell me all about how Carey stoned Ovie.

(Or… not.)

Three questions:

1. How many Semin jokes were made before it got old?
2. Will being paired with MAB destroy Ryan O’Byrne’s confidence and ruin him for the rest of the season?
3. Will this be an embarrassment or a respectable loss?

Three predictions:

1. People will still make lame Semin jokes.
2. This game will be offensively loud if you watch it on TSN, and of course you will be watching it on TSN because why would you want to subject yourself to Benoit Brunet?
3. Game 22 Gionta love will be under Cammalleri’s care tonight.

Hey Laura, do you have any superstitions when it comes to watching games? What’s your game day ritual?

Ain’t got one, although I have begun to believe that if I don’t post 3Qs and 3Ps every game I’m letting the team down.

Rhino paired with MAB… It was like Markov covering for Komisarek, only in reverse.

I heard MCGUIRE all the way from RDS.

Both Cammy and Moen took care of the Gionta love! A respectable win! Big big big swagger from Carey!
