Postgame 21 – Who almost loses to the Hurricanes? I mean really.

November 18, 2009

I was all ready to puke (à la Pats fans on Monday morning) before AK46 tied the game.

How unbelievable  was Carey in that OT/SO?

As good as his teammates were bad in regulation.

Game 21 Gionta love: Temporarily held for safekeeping by his teammates. Tonight Plekanec was carrying it around.

Andrei Markov: WHY DO YOU HATE US, hockey gods?

Goalie Guessing Game: Duh.

Chris Higgins Career Watch: The Rangers are playing marginally better than the Habs right now. By my calculations, this translates to Higgy playing marginally better than… D’Agostini right now.

(Sidebar: Is D’Agostini dead? There’s been, like, no talk about him since the concussion.)

Andrei Kostitsyn, Maxim Lapierre and Max Pacioretty: Like that players who needed to step up did. Don’t like the horrible thought that they might go right back into slump mode as early as tomorrow.

Pierre et Benoit: Of course, Pierre et Benoit found something wrong with the way AK46 tied the game and handed the Habs a point. And of course, even though Carey saved the team in OT and handed the Habs a second point, Maxim Lapierre is the hero. Not that they pissed all over Carey, but, like, MaxLap is not the one we call ‘Jesus.’
Pierre et Benoit are like the Jack Edwards of francophones.

I call Benoit Brunet “Barney Rubble”. Laughs the same.

Was hoping Price would have taken that Jedi stopped puck and maybe whipped it at the pressbox.

    Um. Yea, where is D’Agostini?
