Game 21 – Gross – Carolina Hurricanes at Montreal Canadiens November 17

November 17, 2009

A quick one, because I have some lunch errands to run…

Three questions:

1. Who needs to win this game more, the Habs or the Canes?
2. Brian Gionta is out for this game… is your world collapsing, too?
3. What will it mean if the Habs lose this game?

Three predictions:

1. This game will be a snoozefest.
2. No, seriously, you might want to consider watching the Caps at NYR.
3. TK will get a lot of love at the beginning of the game, and then try and drop ’em with, like, Laps or Fat84 or someone equally useless which will result in misplaced boos. Misplaced because the booing will be directed at TK and not Laps or Fat84.

Hurricanes need to win it for their own self-esteem, but the Habs have to win it to not get too far behind.

Time for someone to step into a scoring role with Gionta possible out for a little while. *cough* Kostitsyn *cough*

Habs…Because the Canes are insignificant to me.

    2. Brian Gionta is out for this game… is your world collapsing, too?

I will be singing “Hold me Closer Tiny Winger” tonight.

    3. What will it mean if the Habs lose this game?

    LOLHALL

In conclusion, I want to see a fight between Kostopolis and Leach, for sexual reasons, of course.

That reminds me, I misplaced my booze.

I predict a shootout win by Les Canadiens
