MAB will get the loudest cheers tomorrow.

The Thrashers, apparently, are hot. I am unable to verify that information for you, but I can tell you they’re 4-1-0 so far.

The Habs, apparently, are not. I can definitely vouch for that. They’ve lost as many games as the Thrashers have played.

Three questions:

1. Will the Habs ever win a game again?
2. How many points will Ilya Kovalchuk get this game?
3. Like, seriously Max, what in Koivu’s name are you doing?

Three predictions:

1. The smurf line will get five points among them.
2. MAB will not miraculously re-energize the PP his first game back. He’s not Andrei Markov. But then again, who is?
3. MAB will, however, complete multiple TIR!s-sur-récéption.

I’m really nervous to see how our slow defense plays against a dynamic and fast skating sniper in Kovalchuk. Hopefully Price can hold the fort and steal us another win.

Cammalleri has always been a streaky player and tends to score in bunches. Last season alone he had 8 multi goal games including 2 hattricks. I wouldn’t be surprised if he had one of these offensive outputs vs ATL now that he’s got the first goal out of the way.

The slowness on the D has been bothering me quite a bit. I didn’t expect it to be like this bad at all, even with Markov down.

Anyway, it’s Kovalchuk. There’s not getting in his way. Kind of like playing against Ovechkin, except you come out of it with a lot less bruising and slightly less Goals Against.

I hope you’re right on Cammalleri. I can’t wait to see this guy score in bunches.
