Game 2: Habs without Markov for four months at Sabres minus Spacek for… well, ever

October 3, 2009

I’ve calmed down. I still hate life without Markov. But there is hope. The Habs D this year is supposedly deeper than last year, and if they manage to parcel out all of the roles that Markov played among the seven of them, they might manager a few Ws here and there.

On the other side of the NHL: Koivu has been named an “A”

Three questions:

1.What are the Habs going to do without Markov?
2.How will they survive without Markov?
3.Markov?

Three predictions:

1.Jason Pominville, if in the line up (who can be bothered to check when Markov is out for four months?) will have a big night.
2.Gomez will score at least one point.
3.Hal Gill will make up for his Thursday night gaffe by building a little sofa-cushion fort around the crease.
